Louisa Successfully Proposes Dissertation

Louisa has successfully proposed her Dissertation! Louisa will be investigating the feasibility, acceptability, and initial efficacy of a couple’s-based adaptation of Behavioral Activation for Substance Use among couples where both partners have Substance Use Disorder. An adaptation of the LETS ACT behavioral activation treatment pioneered by our PI, Dr. Daughters will be integrated within a Cognitive Behavioral Couple’s Therapy (CBCT) framework, pioneered by UNC’s Dr. Don Baucom. This study will take place over the next two years and will begin recruiting in fall 2023. More information to come about this study!
