Happy Graduation to Zander!

Alexander (Zander) Vierling graduated this month from UNC with a B.S. in Neuroscience. Zander joined the BRANE lab as a freshman and has made an incredible contribution over his four years here! To name a few, Zander trained and mentor undergraduate research assistants and completed study assessments for Catherine Paquette’s dissertation study testing the feasibility and efficacy of a Harm Reduction adaptation of Behavioral Activation for people who inject drugs. He has also worked on analyzing data and prepping a manuscript from his time on this study, with an interest in understanding ways to improve treatment engagement and retention among this sample.  Zander hopes to pursue medical school in the future – good luck Zander! You will be greatly missed!
